Back Box Advice

Post by LogIK »

Hi everyone. I like the idea of my Polo sounding nice and loud 8) , so I'm after a large back box replacement. I want to be able to keep the original centre pipe etc and also replace the original back box when the time comes to sell my Polo  .

Is this possible or am i asking too much here?

Also, any recommendations, baring in mind I'm looking for cheapest option  ?

Thanks in advance.

yeah mine's only a 1.0L, and i got a back box off a cavalier it's a peco stainless and it sounds nice, it was cheap (out of paper)

it was easier to put it straight down the middle than too the side. looks better too!!

Hi matey, yeah theres plenty of back boxes out there. Depends what you want to spend and tail pipe etc. Ashley ones are supposed to be quite loud and they are reasonably priced. You after mild or stainless steel ?

Yeah I also have a 1.0L. I'm looking to spend the minimum possible really, as I have spent quite a bit on it already. Probably looking at a stainless pipe, but i dont mind really (I believe mild is cheaper isn't it..?)
