hi,

Just wanted to know whether we can use shell v-power fuel in a mk5? And if you can has any body tried it? is there any difference?

Yeah if it's unleaded lol, I Reckon its all the same but still use it over normal unleaded as it keeps engine a bit cleaner Etc does it not ?

I use it from time to time. It contains detergents, so it isn't bad, but I do notice a drop in economy though.

It makes no difference to the performance of my car, however.

Most of the time I just use Shell's finest unleaded fuel.

I reckon my engine would need a good clean now that it's at 96k! I shall try next time i'm at the pumps.

i use v power on my 1.0 mk5 it makes my fuel go further and is more responsive as for making it quicker, not really but it does feel abit more power there, and yes it does clean the engine

v-power diesel is superb! tho its limited availability, its worth it! made big difference! cant really comment on unleaded tho.. sorry!
