To de-badge or not to de-badge ?

Post by jakethesnake »

Ok who still has their badges or not ?.

I removed my badges from my 16V not long after I got it and the same with my previous 1.6 GL.

3 years later I'm thinking of putting them back on :) . I got new ones from Martyn, just waiting for a suitable dry day !.

You are? Wow.

I took the back off mine (the one that says 'Polo') and I'm glad I did. The 'VW' logo is staying though, kinda like it.

VW never fitted any other badges on continental cars btw.

On my 6N, I removed the 1.4CL badge immediately.

It took a few months for me to remove the POLO badge, but eventually I did.

I've kept all the badges on the 6N2 GTi, cos I think they look nice.

I removed my 16V badge straight away but kept the POLO badge for quite a while. I think I will just put the POLO one back on. I kind of like it.
