I would like to know what would happen if i remove the internal hood cover (that black "blanket" that covers the side that goes to the engine of the hood).

You don't have it? so tell me if you've had any problems
anyway, i think i'll give it a good cleaning and will install it back

Nah Not Had any Problems at all Mate, But if i did have one i'd keep it,
I first removed it because my cone filter was sucking the dirt from the cover, but i managed to lower a bit the cone filter and to install an aluminium cover so the cone filter doesn't touch or suck the cover. It works like a charm!
