HELLO EVERYONE.
Just looking to ask you experts summin. We were having a casual drive today, when we noticed the Amber "CHECK" logo appearing on the dash.
We have no idea what it means?? I take it its an engine management light? Has this come on with you guys, and if so, when you had the problem checked, what was the problem??
I dont know what to do. The car seems to drive just the same, not juddering, misfiring or anything. It seems a pointless light, but it has obvioulously come on for some reason??
Hope you can help.
Thanks in Advance.

Hi Chaps - so it sounds like a common problem. All these soddin lights and stuff that have to be cleared by use of computers. What a nitemare...technology!! And still it mucks up.
Well the day after i posted on here, after leaving car overnight, i started up next morning, and the light never came on.
Strange....but pleased. Annoyed as it could do it again and what is a Lambda Probe?? Oblviously it dont cause too much problems as some of you said you have had this fault for ages and havent bothered in gettin it repaired.
Never heard of a Lambda Probe before? where is this sensor, and what is it supposed to do??
Thanks again!!

Ther eis two of these probes mate and they aint cheap, one Before the CAT and One After, they control the Amount of air etc going into the engine i believe, and also the emisions aswell, may just be a faulty probe or something more serious,Oddgy wrote:Hi Chaps - so it sounds like a common problem.
