central locking pump

has anyone tried using a golf mark 3 central locking pump that looks just like the polo central locking pump???? are they compatible?

I've had a look on ETKA, and the part numbers seem to correspond... so if your clawing one out of a scrapper, then its worth a go for sure!

SWEEETTTTT!!!

I took a risk by buying a golf mk 3 central locking pump for a mk 4 polo on ebay!

AND.......

IT ....

....

WORKED!!!!!

The electrical part clipped in just as nicely as the polo part is meant to.. however their i a little difference with thre air lock pipes... they are slightly different... but you can work around it!!!
