gear knob?

was browsing the net and found this

and was wondering would it fit a regular polo gearstick. im not at home so i cant check my car!

i would say yes, as they are all based on the same fitting! but if you want one get one from vag parts mate!

if it's an original gear knob it will fit, however you will have to get yourself a new sort of metal clip, as the one that is on your gear knob will come off when you take it off.

well finally got home and had a look at the stick. it seems to be one moulded 1 and i dont think it unscrews off! does anyone elses gear stick sounds like this?

u have to unclip the gaitor at the bottom and lift it up! underneath u will find the metal part of the gear stick and at the top of the metal part there is a metal clip that needs to be cut and then the whole gearknob/gaitor should just pull off!
if ur changng the knob, u will probably need to change the gaitor aswell due to the originals being sewn together!
