Are roof ariels hard to fit?

Post by robert.cheetham »

The wing ariel looks horrible. I want a roof ariel but i've been told it is a big job. Is it?

maybe doing an ariel is fine, maybe the harder part is to fill in ur existing hole from the wing ariel!

by the way, welcome to the 1.0ltr club!

The bung is fitted to G40's as standard, as they have bee sting aerials.

good point, never thought of that! must look into that for when i get a G40!

although, i don't think its neccassary for left hand drive cars to have the aerail on the other side! still, worth a thought

Well I´m a left hand polo driver :) and the wing ariel is on the left side of the car.
So our right side wing is clear.
