anybody from hull
anybody from hull
is anybody from hull on here, i am going for a job down there but also thinkin about movin etc, so if so what is it like, what are places to avoid movin to etc, the night life gd and what is it like for car crime etc cause got doubts about takin the car, any info would be great
Went to uni there, so I know it pretty well.
Avoid east hull and the various estates. The avenues (student area) are a great place to live. Run any place past me and I'll give you the lowdown.
Nightlife's a bit hit and miss, most of it revolves around LA's, which if you like stoned 12 year olds coming on to you you'll like. I used to go to a decent metal place called spiders, but it's probably gone a bit mainstream now. Loads of good pubs.
Car crime: Get an alarm, an immobilser, a steering lock, and a sniper rifle and you'll be fine. Actually, joking aside, the criminals there are dips**t opportunists, if it's in sight, they'll break in for it, if a car's basic, they'll nick it, anything that needs a brain cell, they don't look twice at.
Personally, I've called the place home and I love it there.
