Sprucing up the crappy dials........

Post by Black16v »

I've seen a nice tutorial on how to change the instrument cluster light from green to what ever colour you want in the DIY section. It also shows you how to change the dials from crappy black to a nice crisp white.

Only problem is my car is a 1.4 16v and is 0-140mph and redlines at 7000rpm and the lockwood dial kits and the dials everyone else has modded are 0-120mph and redline at 6000rpm. Obviously if i fitted this kit the whole speed and revs would be f*cked up!!! Any one got any idea how i can change my dials or someone somewhere who does the right dial kit for my car???

Lockwood do a 0-140mph and 7000rpm redline kit but the layout is wrong for my car! so f*cking frustrating!!! Only way i can think of doing it is using the layout of the first kit and cut out the dials from the second kit, but that means buying two kits and thats plain stupid!! there must be an easier way.......?
