'ite well since i bought the car (4 months ago) i have been through 2 exhausts(bac and middle parts together) another bac box and 8 mounts and yestaday i was doin some country lane drivin and i managed to knock off another 2 mounts ne advise on how to secure them so i dont snap them as much or is it a case of live wit it ?

i've had this problem, i ripped my whole ex of from the engion to the end lol. i just live with the scraping, and i haven't even got mine lowered.
it would be good if you could put a thin metal sheet on the whole bottom and then nothing would get damaged

ive concidered a plate for teh bottom but it wont be practical

its them bloody speed bumps, im down 60 on 15's but wana go lower on 14's or 13's and were i live is speed bump central to get to my house theres no other way

i snapped my back box of last week, been driving round all week with no back box, man it noisy
ah well should get a powerflow fitted in about 2 weeks

Ibizas do it too, unfortunately.
I was down 60mm but the speedhump outside work ripped the exhaust off every time. I've changed the springs to 40mm and its better now.
Everywhere I go there's a speedhump. I think I'll stick to standard kit on my next car.

were i work had the biggest speed bump ive seen i have to go over it at 3mph and i stil scrape like fcuk
