hey there mate well i had a 1.0 mpi and i had a inductoin kit put on and to be honnest dont bother unless any body can cum up with another way to put one on,
cuz i put one on my old one and had to take the box off n bolt it onto the top of the carb and i put breather filters on those pipes which come off the box, but after a bit oil started spitting out of them and it started gettin worse so i woudnt bother those pipes i think are breather oil lines which spit it into the box then goes back into the engine.

i have a 1.4 8v mpi and iv got the same type as yours so i would like to now myself hope u can get it sorted

First, take out all the original intake system. Then you can do something like this: http://www.tigerstyle.co.uk/poloforum/v ... hp?t=28972

You have to put mini filters in the thin tubes that were connected to the original filter ;)

i got a 1 litre to and i love it. i to have an induction kit k&n 57i to be exact and it was easy to fit. once the old air filter was taken totally of there is 3 tubes that go into the filter not including the air intake for the engine. the first one is a rubber hose on the left hand side of the original air filter near the back, if u have the right filter then u should have a little bit more hose and a L shape tube to enable u to extend the tube into the bottom of the air filter. the other 2 tubes on the right hand side of the filter near the middle/back are 2 different sizes and need little air filters. this is ho i done mine then i cable tied these 2 to parts that wernt gonna get hot. sounds good to. have been told that i should get another tube to extend the filter down to the side where the original filter takes in the cold air as it is the coldest part so is better for the engine.............. or something like that. the filter on its own sounded good and quite loud but not monsterously loud and then when the back box went on it sounded better. ive had loads of people say how nice it sounds...

did n e of this help or did i just ramble on?
