Polo Cabriolet

Post by prankstar2003 »

Does anyone know of anyone modifying a MK1 into a cabriolet? I well want to do this, but need to know about strengthening the chassis and making the hood etc. So i was looking for guidance. Help would be appreciated please

Really wouldn't be easy. Best bet is a sliding softop (like on the mk4 openairs). I think charlie-says on clubpolo has one with one of those.

Cheers. Im not such a big fan of the sliding soft tops. what i really want is the look of a mark one golf cab, but on a polo body. I didnt think it would be easy :s but i fancy giving it a bash.
