GTi Lowering WHat do you know?

HI all

im looking to lower the gti approx 80mm am i better going for a good set of springs and shocks as i aint got a huge amount or waiting till i can afford coilovers. even tho i only intend to go 80 as anymore is unpractical where i live?

help?

I don't think you can get springs for 80mm drops. Think they are only for slight drops.

coilies are your only option for 80mm mate. 8)

Chap on Club Polo is selling new sets of un-branded coilovers (G-Max if I remember correctly..) for around £245

Wait and go for the coilovers, my balck polo handles very good and the ride is nice, alot better than i thought.

i have jamex (?) ones cost less than the unbranded on cp

better off saving tbh - im glad i did
