rear wiper!

the rear wiper on my mk2 squareback doesnt work! anyone know if this is a common problem and if so how do you fix it?
any help would be greatly appreciated

mine was broken wires in the rubber boot between the tailgate n body

could also be a siezed spindle, duff motor or fuse

yeah i've heard of that too, my old mk2 used to have a bad connection on the rear screen de-mister. that used to break somewhere near the boot hinge. could be the same thing!

does it try and make a noise when you operate it? if it hums a bit it could be a siezed motor. if there is no noise, it could be the fuse!

theres no noise when i try to use it just the water squirting out! maybe its the fuse?

check the wireing in the hinge...

rubber lookin thing at the top of ur boot recess when u open it,
