I fitted one on my 1.4 and the car ran smoother and slightly better fuel consumption. Fitting a big backbox didn't make much difference other than every turning heads as I drove past

I do have a few mates that noticed by fitting a backbox with the aid of an induction filter consumed more gas so therefore having to take off the backbox, theirs weren't polo's though.

So fittng a filter alone would probably be best

i know i have a different mark polo
but i custom fit a 6n 1.0 K&N to mine and all i've noticed is that it frees the revs up abit and sounds loud when you put your foot to the floor, fuel consumption errm roughly the same??

I got K&N induction kit for my 1.4 6N off ebay, brand new and boxed for £30 and then payed £8 for postage.

The Induction kit for the 1.4 6N is K&N number: 57-0193-1

Fitted it in just over an hour because i had to cut a section out the grill on the bottom of the bumper for the cold air feed, but if i was to fit one again i could do it in about 20mins. Instructions arn't brilliant, but good enough to tell you what to do.

If anyone gets one and isnt sure about anything, feel free to drop me a PM and i'll be happy to help you out :D
