New wheels on my Polo

Post by veedub-ally »

Just fitted some TT Competition wheels to my Polo. I know someone else here with a GTI (sorry can't remember the name just now!) fitted a set a couple of weeks ago as well - look fab. I've had these for a while but not been using the Polo for a couple of months so not had a chance to sort them out. Sunny day today so got the new wheels fitted and used some Meguiars 3 step on my paintwork. Sorry for the first pic's rubbish quality. Was working at my folks house and didn't have the camera until I got home.

Two more things to sort on the car now: Votex side skirts to be painted and fitted and the front end to be repsrayed metallic black - satin black was a mistake as it is all stone chipped already! All comments welcome :D

Looking good, although I think the wheels might look better in their standard finish.

Thanks for the comments guys. Had a few negative comments on the wheels but I am warming to them now. Think the dark colour was a shock at first!

I think once you got the skirts on, they will tie everything up nicely.

Thanks Biddle and everyone else for the comments. Maybe just to clarify things..... the front and rear is part of a Caractere kit. I didn't like the Caractere side skirts so I am going to fit Votex side skirts instead. I've not been using my car for a while and it has just been sitting in the garage. I've not had time to get the work done on it but hope to have it finished in the next month or so. I agree that the skirts should even things up and finish it off.
