9n2 Rear lights on a 9n

Some help please, has anyone tried the 9n2 lights on a 9n...
I have and the wireing is all wrong and the wrong bulbs light at the wrong time??

Yes its possible, but the standard wiring needs changing or getting a converter.

You can buy aftermarket 9n2 style lights for the 9n

Hows it going Seb?

You can get the Hella lights that come with the converters with it. It just goes between the lights and the cars loom

There not different, they just come with the converter cables.

I had the red 9N2 lights on for a while but took them off. I got the genuine lights from VW and bought the converter cables from German eBay - worked fine

I don't have mine any more mate. The hella ones packaged with the looms will work fine

But they will have the reverse light on the right, so your probably better getting the UK ones and buying the looms seperately. They were only Â£5 I think

what are the looms called? (In german!)
