I also need the part number for the Passenger side! Stone cracked it :( and one of the clips has also broken off.

Don't have them with me at the moment but you should be able to enquire with the parts department of an dealer, don't think they are GTI specific so ones that fit the Mk5/6N2 will do.

I picked mine up from Inters a few years back and another set on eBay, probably the best place to pick them up as they are pretty cheap on eBay, the second set was, if Iremember correctly only a tenner, whereas at Inters it was £15, go knows how much a dealer would charge for them!

As for picking up a single one, not sure if that is possible as I've always seen them in pairs. How on earth have you managed to crack it R.I.T.B? Thought they were indistructable! Must have been a big stone...brick? Make's you realise how valuable they are though, had it been a headlight, you'd be paying out a lot more than £10!

The part number is printed on the headlight protectors :)

I noted it down when I sold mine on eBay but can't access the (expired) auction to get at it now :(

No drilling needed, a simple two clicks to clip two clips to the bottom of the protector and then an arm extends from the protector to a screw on the top of the headlight, very simple, all you need is a Torx screwdriver however, instructions should be included.
