What did you to do to your mirror cap??

That virtual itch slap is aaaaaaaaace!!
It was slightly fubar'd

It nearly fell of on the Motorway on the way back from the GTI Summer festival and E38, the wind has managed to blow it off while it was on the driveway. It's slightly cracked, and it no longer fits properly.

I'm sure it will survive the drive to Cornwall though :|

Gave it a wash yesterday, after collecting a fair bit of dirt while on holiday in Newquay.

Next weeks plans include:

- Clay using Sonus green clay
- At least three layers of AG SRP
- Seal, and wax with at least a couple coats of CG 50/50 Connoisseur Carnauba Wax

Thanks :)

I had a set of LED sidelights a while back, but decided that they didn't look as good as I hoped, with the headlights on, so I put the old Osram ones back on.

Maybe, but I'm not too sure on the legality of HID kits, with all the self-levelling and headlight washer mumbo-jumbo.

I recieved my HoseCoil yesterday, and I started cleaning the car in preparation for Sunday's GTI Spring Festival.

Giving it a rinse

After that I washed it with a Eurow Washmitt, and proceeded to claying it with Sonus green clay.

So far, I've given it two coats of Autoglym SRP, and I will put on the last coat, and apply some sealant. Then I will apply a few coats of Chemical Guy's 50/50 Connoisseur Carnauba Wax.

Just a quick photo after 3 coats of SRP, 1 coat of Sealant, and 2 coats of CG 50/50 :

Going to give it one more coat, and after that all I need to do is dress the black plastic trim.

I've also been applying another coat of PB Wheel Sealant, and a coat of tyre gel on the tyres.

Thanks for the compliments guys :D

I have been spending a lot of money on detailing products recently. Probably over spent over £100 on products recently. The paint still has a lot of defects, so I may be spending some more in the near future :?

The shine is totally worth it though
