thats was a great day!! weather was superb, i got a bit burnt on my face, ears and neck!
nice to meet the new faces and good to catch up with alot of ya!
i think we left at about 5.15ish, after the second jet car run and i worked it out that i got home in under 3 hours and that was with queues on the m1 and m25! not bad going
oh and i have done 350miles on £30 of fuel it works out at about 50mpg! i love diesel (although i did get trounced on the m1 by a mk1 golf gti
)
happy days, see you all at the next one!

It was a superb day, wheather couldn't have been better. But where was our UK-polos banner no one knew which club we were from, and my car was definately the s**t car on the stand, everyones car was absolutely spotless and so clean while mine has like a million stone chips and plenty of dents all over the car, it looked like i was going for the rat look when compared to the cars next to me
Morning everyone!
Thanks for a great day - sorry I wasn't around much, I knew a lot of other people at the show as well and I managed to fall asleep for a while on that big grassy hill by the strip so I have a sunburnt nose and legs!
It was great to see such a big turnout for the forum and as usual everyone was really friendly. I always notice the difference between other vag meets and uk-p ones! Looking forward to the next one already!

If you fit Lum a nice new engine, ill take her down. hehe!
Rach - your sense of direction appears to be almost as good as mine, lol.
My friend Simon was being my satnav, but unfortunately I let him have some beer on the drive up and he was fairly useless by the time we got near the campsite. I felt very sorry for shantybeater as he was trying to follow us and at one point we went round the same roundabout 6 times!
