Erm...

To get photos on here, have a look here.

I suggest using Photobucket or Imageshack to host your photos. With photobucket you have to set up an account, and with imageshack, you don't.

What wheels do you like? Is it the 16" BBS' or the 15" Cups?

Your Dad is right, 17" wheels will hamper performance somewhat, especially on the 1.0 MPI. Most people on here will say 14" to 16" wheels are the optimum size.

New pics of the polo, as the weather was lovely this evening. I gave it a wash early this morning, with some Poorboys slick and suds through the Hosecoil, to get rid of all the dust and pollen on the car, then washed with some more PB S&S with a Eurow washmitt and dried using Meg's Last Touch and a PB waffle weave:

Apart from de-wipering, can anyone spot my new mod?

Thanks for the compliments lads :)

The paint looks worse than it does in the photos, there's so many swirls. Soon I'll be ordering a special machine to eliminate those pesky swirls

This week is all about putting the Polo back to standard.

At the Polo Show yesterday, it looked like this:

At 11 o'clock today, it looked like this:

I replaced the GTI grille with a standard grille, removed the fogs, and lower grilles with standard versions, took the rear black badge off and replaced it with a standard chrome item, and took the sub and wiring out.

I'm not looking forward to doing the shocks and exhaust though :?

Once I find out how to get if off, I'll get in touch straight away :)

And I am interested in taking the splitter off your hands, Dan :)

I've now re-fitted the rear wiper, and gave the engine bay a bit of a clean with some APC.

I'm not the biggest fan of smoothed bumpers, they strangely remind me of this:

I'm a fan of black bumpstrips for that "base-spec" look

haha i know. I was trying it out just to see how good i was with a chop lol

it currently stays between keeping it the way it is, or getting the rub strips handles and roof gutters colour coded to match.

Most likely gonna keep it the way it is :P
