Finally made a decision about my wheels

Post by Bryony84 »

I've been told today that I won't be getting the pay rise I was expecting until July so I've finally come to the decision that I'm going to sell my black and silver wheels in favor of lowering the car. I still have my bbs so they will be going back on for now.

The Huhrers will be up on ebay tonight or tomorrow and I'll post a link at some point.

Not got them refurbed yet, in 2 minds whether to or not as I'm a bit of a euro dishy wheel whore! I expect I'll probably just put them back on for a month and look for something new and exciting to put on before inters in June!

It's a shame the wheels are going Bryony but, yay for lowering, it makes the car look sooooo much better.

why not just keep the wheels and save to have the lowering done in time for june?

you'll still have to find a few pennies by June if you were to lower or buy new wheels

Sadly things have changed again and I don't think I'll be keeping the wheels or lowering, I turned my music down on a drive yesterday and my car is making all kinds of random noises and I'm fairly sure most of them are gearbox related as I'd noticed some crunching into 3rd recently.

Looks like the money will be spent on a new gearbox!!!

I'll post some pics up of the wheels later as I'm taking them off this morning. They could probably do with a refurb as the centre caps don't fit flush - deevub ran them like this with washers behind the screws but I was too much of a perfectionist!
