My GTi story................So far (short version)
Got mine in september 2006,
after a couple of days one of the rear wheels came loose,
a week or two after that my gearbox went,
following this i changed my cambelt
now my clutch is screwed so its gone for a checkup and by the looks of things, from what i read here and from what the mechanic at VW said the pedalbox may be screwed as well
ah to add the icing the cd changer doesn't work anymore
BUT and this is a huge everything else pummelling BUT....
the car is so nice when it does work and it is pure sex to look at that tbh i don't give a crap about the problems they're there to make me appreciate the car during the brief moments it works and i love it!
