VW LOGIC/CONLOG 900 alarm

Post by theclient »

Can anyone help... just got a mk4 polo and its got a logic 900 alarm dealer fitted from new (made by conlog) it didnt come with a manual and ive got a bit of a problem!

it keeps goin off all the time 3/4 times a day and its driving me mad!

its the alarm with the smal socket for the key fob, usually on the passenger side dash.

anyway.. anyone got any ideas? or a copy of the manual?

PS, the car has a new battery

well mine only goes off once or twice a week but only at night so im living with it at the moment but would like to get it sorted.

Ive got a feeling its not something that can be fixed and a replacement alarm will be required

Mine came with the same alarm, but looks like it has been disabled by removing the alarm brain I assume for the sae problems you are having.

Just looked on ebay and tghere seems to be quite a few alarm brain units and matched control key fobs...gives the impression that it may be a common ault with these units.
