whats everyone doing in 2004

Post by nick euro »

well what has everyone got in plan fopr their car in 2004 and other things.
i've got flushed doors, dtm cup mirrors, new rims, exhaust system, rolling road tuning, top secret front end and rear bumper hopefully to go on and a full respray again in same colour  :D due to granny hitting boot with a trolley (dumb woman), and someone throwing an egg and chipping the roof

going to be completing my degree, coaching secondary schools rugby around the north west. getting my class a coach and tag team coach qualifications. hopefully get good dj slots in some top manchester clubs and finding a good job after uni, maybe a physical education officer in the raf. 8)

well i will get it lowered (springs already bought) new front speakers, rear speakers, colour coding plastic bits, cat back exhaust, new door and generally get all the little niggles out the way! an maybe this time next year i may be looking into a G40! we shall see!

work wise, i'll carry on with my engineering apprenticeship, ast the mo i am in my first year! but the main thing is to slog it out cause the place where i am training is 50 miles away n i go there every weekday until july time! then i will work couple of miles from my house! so my main thing is to keep my chin up, and put up with the next 6 months! it'll be worth it! :)

already got mine booked in for: smoothed boot, smoothed bonnet (notch where badge goes) de handled, all side and bumper trim removed, gti spoiler, aerial removed, maybe tinted windows (still not sure),
need to find a set of bbs rs001 split rims must be in fairly good condition, not too bothered bout tyres.
Work wise probably stay in the same place for a bit, but now i've finished my apprenticeship for good might go to prodrive and see what its like spending every day with my dad

Unfortunatly, I cant afford to do much this year on the car. Due to arranging my wedding for Next year.
I have just fitted a PS2 in the car with a 5.6" monitor In the headrest.

The one thing i will be doing though is finishing off my boot build but thats only because im spending my birthday money on it, lol So apart from that is only small mods for me.

I just got a quote for mine on elephant.com

fully comp on a standard GT = £298

fully comp on a modified GT (non standard engine, brakes, exhaust... basically every box ticked) = £315 fully comp!!

Woot woot!! Bring on the VR6!!!!
