sidelights

Post by vwdan »

Hi
Made a bit of a return to this forum. Not been on here for some time now.

Still got the Polo!! Keep thinking of changing though but at the moment I think I would best off keeping it

Changed the sidelights last night (what a nighmare) I got the passenger one out easy but the drivers side one just wouldnt budge. I used a screwdriver which someone suggested on here. Was fiddling with them for a while

Done it in the end though but I cant seem to get the covers back on the back

Any suggestions? Sorry I know it sounds really dumb but I cant seem to click them back into place

You need to make sure the two clips on the left (drivers) and right (passenger) sides of the covers lock into the grooves - the covers will not stay unless these are hooked into their little holes. Then move the metal clip over to secure them :P

cheers alex
I tried sliding them but it wasnt easy to see where they went. Obviously just took a bit of fidgiting

Quite impressed I actually managed to do the sidelights. Went for some bluevision again as I had these to hand but really need to get those LED ones really :P

See you added the fogs! I still not done it yet. Missed out on some on eBay the other day!! Grrrr
