Headunit Memory

I just bought a headunit and installed it i was a bit lazy :) and bought the adapter to connect the headunit and the original wiring in case i sell the car however whenever i just turn the key on and off the headunit seems to reset doesn't save any of my settings or anything not a major problem as i listen to CD but it's still annoying any help would be appreciated.... :?:

You need to switch two of the wires around on your wiring loom. I cannot remember exactly, as I had the same problem but I think you need to switch the 12v yellow lead (memory) and the 12v ignition feed around and then the memory will stay. Hope thats some help.

Yup you are kinda right. Basically, cut the yellow and the red wires - then crimp red to yellow and yellow to red. Thatll fix all your problems :)
