If you want a set of TT comps then you will have to be prepared to do a little searching! Best place to look is ebay, adtrader or other types of mag and web pages! Your best bet though is to have a good search on Vw and Audi sites just like this, look up the classifieds sections on all website you never know your luck.

Thats if you want to buy a set of second hand wheels, to be honest finding a set of competition wheels in execellent condition is very very hard! Trust me I know! If your thinking bout going down this road then be carefull as competion alloys CANT be refurbished! If you are gonna do it then you need to do all four wheels and they will never look like they once did. Small little scrapes are fine but if they have been through a couple of winters then corosion is gonna be set in! These wheels are for summer use only, if you wanna keep them good then be prepared to have them off for anything from 3-5 months over winter.

Also these wheels are designed to be fitted with 225/45/17 now these are big tyres, usual 17" only need 205 tyres even though these tyres do fit you run the chance of major damage to the wheels. Then..........Yes I know Im going on a bit but hey you asked! If you want to lower your car you are also going to have problem there aswell but I want go into that cause Im sure your fed up by now!

As for the VW Exor wheels I wanted these before I got my wheels! They are really really nice but I think the suit darker cars more(just my opinoin). These wheels will fit no problems as they are avaiable as an extra option when buying your car new. VW wouldnt give you wheels that wouldnt fit now would they? Also if you are going to lower your car then I dont think you would have any problems with these on. Another thing is because these wheels arent polished you will get away with using them over the winter just as long as you look after them.

All in all its your call I guess its just what ever you like! A set of brand new Vw Exor wheels will cost you £150 each so for 4 you are talking £600. I dont know if matyn at Vag parts would beable to get them cheaper you would need to ask him, Im not sure what he can and cant get. A set of used TT competition wheels in good condition can cost anything from £500-£800 but if you want a new set then you will get charged £350 per wheel so £1200 for four!

If you havent got a lot of money go for some standard 15" alloy wheels, Jazzy is selling a set a four Melbourne alloys with tyres only four month old for £300  . Now thats no bad! Check here http://www.tigerstyle.co.uk/poloforum/v ... 9ac1d99d9c

Yeah its really wierd how different wheels look better on different cars! Its all down to "getting it right"! Sometimes I see polo's with alloys that I think look crap then I see them on another polo and they look the buisness!

I had the Exors modelled on my car and they looked so nice. But i don't think they were £150 each though. I wish they was. But then starts the argument of traditional "five spoke" Vs "multispoke"
which is best?
The 5 spoke alloys are 18" so they are at an advantage

Who prefers five spoke as opposed to Multispoke?

Hey ally

Yeah I looked up the price list for volkswagen and it says they are only £150 each! So.......... I dunno am I reading wrong? I thought that was cheap too but when you think about it £600 for 4 alloys is pretty dear when you can buy a 17" alloy wheel and tyre package for £600/£700. But still I know because its VW they are always dearer!
