interior bulbs BLUE

Post by depala »

Hi,

Just 2 days ago my bulb for the heating went! I then looked at the haynes manual and replaced it :) (by the way im not a DIY guy, so itz a big acheivement for me lol)

Anyways wen i went to the shop instead of the standard white bulb i got a BLUE one and now it looks different. The heating switches light up BLUE :)

I was wondering can i also change the colour of the side mirror switch to BLUE?

I looked in the hanyes manual but it does not talk about the bulb for that.

I took the side mirror switch out but couldnt find any bulb :s maybe i have to open the inside of it?

Also the light switch, does dat hav a bulb too?

hope to hear from someone who has tried this b4!

I have this prob too, my heater controls arent lit up but neither is the fag lighter.

Is there a circuit breaker activated when one bulb goes or is it likely to be a wiring problem?

Any help would be appreciated

At the above dude: Hae you checked your fuse box? Its behind the lil dash thing underneathe the steering wheel behind the glove compartment. To get the golove compartment off is simple just take a look. Theres a sort of clippy like thing on each side that stops it from coming out to far. You pull them abck a bit and then it should descend all the way. Your fusebox is behind that and now it gets a bit finicky.

You shouldnt have to move the fusebox but in case you do ehres how to take it off: There is a clip on either side of the fusebox. its light grey in colour this needs to be pished off in an upwards motion if memory serves. Then the fusebox comes forward once both are off. but you dont gain much distance only about two or thee inches. It can be a pig to get too the fuses at the end somtimes so you may have to take it out.

P.S: it will only be one of the fuses at the front, the little ones not the big blocky things.
