Fitting an in dash cd changer Polo 1.4s 2002

Hi

New to this forum so bear with me!

Got an in dash 6 cd changer to work with a Beta radio.

Question - how do you remove the box thing below the radio to fit the cd changer?

Sorry if it's a basic question but can't see how it comes out and don't want to destroy half the dash

Hi and welcome.
It fairly simple.
The best way to get it out is to remove the radio first (you need to do that anyway). Then, you will be able to get your hand on back of it to be able to gently pull it forward (towards you). That will unclip it from the back and come out.

Careful though as it is easy scratch the centre console when fitting/removing the radio/cd etc as it has a "soft" finish.
