I thought I'd document this as I had trouble working out how to remove the switch.
To remove:
1. Make sure it is in the off position (0) as shown above.
2. Push the switch in, approx 5mm.
3. Turn to the sidelight position, the switch will click and lock in place.
4. Pull the whole switch unit out of the dash and disconnect the plug on the back.
