Nice pics. Love those wheels, it seems that they were made specially for the 9n/9n3 polo...

Hello, it's been some time I've posted up here

Car has had its custom OBD-tuning, major difference now. With g-tech I got 0-60mph in 7,5s, and quarter mile in 15,5s.

To try and give some info on how fast the car is now (I still need a power-rolling result, will do this in about 2 weeks then I will put the output here), I have tested vs some cars.

Me vs Audi A3 2.0 TDI remapped to 185 HP / 400 Nm
From 0 to 140km/h same acceleration (also starting from 50km/h etc. in 2nd and/or 3d gear), after 140km/h I started to lose him and he was a bit faster.

Me vs VW Polo 9N3 1.9 TDI 130HP (not remapped): I am a bit faster
Note: these cars, originally have already +- 145-150HP on the rolling road.. As most of you know VAG engines mostly have more HP output than given in theory!.

Also, me and a mate of mine traded cars. He has a Golf 4 TDI with about 180HP and 330Nm, and mine did feel a bit faster. We didn't "race" though.

Next week, I'm going back to the tuner, to optimize the current remap a bit, power after 4000RPM could still be a bit more. The current remap has enormeous torque and power, but after 4000RPM the tuner set it back a bit, because, at that point, I was having some intercooler problems (there was a dead bird in my intercooler, lol!). Since the bird is gone ( lol, it took a few weeks since I found it !:P ) intercooler is acting perfectly fine now, so we can go to the maximum.

End result should be about +- 160 HP and 350Nm. As I said, I will go on a "testing bank" to measure the power output!

And last but not least..
some pictures of a little Trio 9n3 photoshoot!

Wouter, firstly mate - a dead bird?! haha

your car looks, and by what you're saying about the remap, IS amazing!

loving the 3 9N3s in the shoot, but who's is the Anthracite Grey 1.9 TDI? because thats what im getting next year, and i was wondering what tints he had? if he has any, but they look a bit darker.

thanks

Thanks, yeah lol, we were laughing our ass off about the bird to! I was already starting to think my intercooler was broken or something (cooling problems), but we had to take off the front bumper to clearly check out the intercooler, and then find the bird :D

The grey Polo is of a mate of mine just from over the border here (he's from Lille, France), it's the Polo I raced with to test the difference, so the 130HP 6-gear one. It is full option.. ESP, leather interior, etc etc. Very nice car.
His tints are the same like mine, so 35% tinted (you can take this as option). I payed this about 200 EUR ..
