absolutly newbie q's!

hi guys bascially im after a 1.0l vw mk4 polo

I have roughly 1k to spend on the motor itself any ideas what i should expect for this money - mileage and year wise??

also im thinking about 2nd hand alloy rims prob 15" any ideas on price?

also id like clear side repeaters, front crystal white indicators,

maybe some rear lights, anyone recommend me specific models/pricing?

also excuse my dumbness, what is required to lower your car / methods/ and how much will it cost?

Oreet mate, I got my Polo for a grand, it's an R reg with 72k on the clock. and I got my 15s for Â£250 from a mate, not sure how much indicators are, i got them from a mate too, but my rear lights were about Â£90 (There's pics of my car on the post below yours called "my mk 4). And lowering, you just need to buy some springs, depending on how low you want it and get a garage to do it for you, Springs cost about Â£100 usually and take them and your car to a garage, not sure how much they'll charge for doin it, probably about another Â£100 or something.

Oh by the way mate, best investment you can make is go to a scrap yard and get urself an induction kit, you can pick um up really cheap, mine's called green, suprisingly it's green and is like a flattened cone, and trust me, it's loud. I haven't heard anything as loud (under 200 break) with just an induction kit except from maybe corsas, but everyone knows they're a bag of s**t anyway lol
