Alrite mate, i've never heard anyone to fit powertec systems or say they work good. I've got a K&N 57i induction kit which I don't use no more, its up for sale for £45. The good thing about this kit is the tsss noise it makes when you put the pedal down +its got a million mile guaratee because you can reclean it when dirty, no need for a new filter anymore! comes with a cold air feed and a breather filter I fit. PM me if you interested because i've also got an exhaust backbox and another universal induction kit whichs only been on my new car a week.

Sorry to kinda p*** on the guy above's bonfire like, but I got myself a "green" flattened cone from a scrappy for a tenner, and it makes a hell of alot of noise, more than my mate's K&N. So yeah, if u wanna save some dosh it's worth havin a look round some scrappys.

I dunno about powertech but i know that on the golfs the K&Ns are a bit pants. They dont hold out cos the golfs suck to hard. I know polos are pretty err.. sucky? Already so i dunno if the same problems will be encountered.

Thinking about it those filters were dirty aswell so maybe thats why theyve crumpled in on themselves a bit. Too much dirt not enough breath space.

Back to my hole i go!

I've also had a pipercross induction kit on the car you see in the pic. It looks much better then the K&N but it never sounded that nice. Don't know about the rest cos I was thinking of breaking the bank with a BMC kit but I prefer K&N, got 2 of them, a pipercross and a universal kit sitting at home for no reason, any offers would do
