im in the hunt for a 1.4 mk4 polo, but not sure which the best model is to go for, theres quite a few i believe, im wanting central locking, pas, for defo could some1 plz give me a idea !!! :)

or any1 selling theirs let me know :lol:

if you want central locking then you should look for a CL model. They're the most common model with that spec.

Alternatively a GL or GLX would also fit, but they're a bit less common.

oh rite k k, ive seen a 1.4 cl match which i like, wat will i get with this spec den ??

the match is often made as a run-out model, so you might get some extras. for example, you might get sunroof, AC or alloy wheels. Then again, you might get none of them!

as above, if u can afford the insurance get urself a nice 16v!! I drive one and i love it!

^^^^^ Haha I'm not biased honest. But I'd go for a 16v too! If you've got the money that is.

well i need to check if it hasnt flown off the shelf but my mate is selling a pretty mint P reg 16v black for £1400 last i checked 79000 odd and his dad is a mechanic so its been pretty well looked after! annd it comes with changed rear lights and probably originals side repeaters changed and head unit! i was well piiiissed when he told me hes selling it at that price cos mines knackered and i cant afford to buy his!

k k, well im 18 at the minute 19 in september and going to have 2 years no claims in december wat u reckon i will have to pay, any rough ideas ??

Its group 10 insurance so its fairly pricey. I ddnt start driving my car til i woz nearly 19 but im 20 now and have a years no claims. Im paying about £700 but thats only 3rd party, fire and theft at the moment. I wont bother getting fully comp until i have my *hopefully* skyline in about 2 years...........now thats a killer on insurance! I expect you'll be paying around the same as me. im with Liverpool Victoria by the way. Check out elephant and maybe hastings direct.....

yh m8 im thinkin of sellin ma polo its 1.4 CL and its an open air edition with only 53,000 miles on the clock, if your interested let me kno yh
