someones hit my door...

I looked at my car earlier and someone has smaked there car door into mine and have left this lift traiangular mark where the door has hit the paint!!

Not happy after a rubbish day at work

Any suggestions on what I could use to tidy this up? I need to get a pic up really to show what it looks like. There isnt a dent it has just left this mark which I am hoping will pollish off

I have got some Scratch X which I will prob try later. So annoyed! I know these things happen. Im sure its happened to some of you on here

Ideas?

If you can get your fingernail in the mark it's left behind, you won't be able to polish it out, you'll probably need someone to do a smart repair on it.

If you can't, go with the Scratch-X, and then top it with a decent wax to protect it.

It's a shame that sp many people have little respect for other people's property, even my own brother opened my door onto a brick wall the other day

I know I will have another look at it later

I could still try the Scratch X if I can feel it just to see what the final result looks like.

Im not sure about the smart repair route as I know that can cost quite a bit.

I had some work done on the rear bumper a few months ago where someone took a chunk out of the back

the previous owner of my polo obviously didnt have much respect for the car, even though it is in good condition she must of opened her door into walls all the time because the edge of the door is quite badly chipped. i need to sort that out but not sure how.

a lot of the time I find the people with brand new cars are worse!

i was sitting in a car park the other day and this woman with an 07 clio just opened her door and hit another one and didnt even pay any attention or care about it
