Which rear lights for my silver mk5?

Post by SpikeyG40 »

alrite guys i wander if u could help me? after seeing some chrome style lexus rear clusters on ebay i decided to check out wot else FK Automotive had to offer.
I found that they did a set of smoked lexus clusters to suit a mk5 polo which instantly took my eye as i had been after a set of smoked clusters for ages! :D
My car is silver mk5 polo (check out Dan's Project Mk5) but it has grey alloys and black bumpstrips etc. I thought smoked would look better than clear but now i'm just not sure :? The lights in question can be found at http://www.fk-automotive.de/en/index.php
I would put in pics but doug knows how to do it and he's gone to bed so i haven't got a clue :P
BTW this is my first proper new topic post  yay me!!!!

cheers guys for any advice!!

hmmm, rubbing strips. i haven't really thought about it really coz i suppose i've got used to them being black.
i have thought about it in the past but never did anything about it, plus i think they look alrite as they are.
i will get the smoked ones as these r the ones i chose in the first place and they look the best i think :)
hopefully i will have them on the car for the meet in dartford, depends on availability.
anyone know the best place to order them from?

Have you seen those hella rear lights? They look pretty good and they do very good smoked LED ones. Ive been looking everywhere for somewhere that supplies them but cant find them anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get some?

check this link out http://www.hella.co.uk/n_products/magic.html
