Post by Jeff GTi »

ok whats everyones opinions on these alloys for my polo gti

as most of you will know iv been a fan of bbs alloys on german cars for some time now and recently was close to ordering a set of rx's but iv seen these and i think love them

now im sticking to the same size as the standard ones as bigger do rub on the inner arches and im happy with the setup on my coilovers, so 16 inch,

what do people think, and does anyone wanna do me a quick photo chop with them on this picture, bear in mine they are to be the same size as the ones in the pics

cheers in advance

they are not the ch's, they are a new one from bbs called co

they are identical to the ch's but come in 16" and do not have the motorsport detail text in the centre near the wheels studs
pretty smart i think

well i have been in touch with a few companys today about getting a set of these but it seems bbs are going bust and are not going to be making these alloys :( even though they are advertised on bbs's website

demon tweeks and awesome gti have said the same, bbs has been sold on and are quickly approching liquidation

how gutting :(

I heard about this too, but some people said that it wasnt the "manufacturing" arm of BBS going bust but some other side company :?

You still thinking of getting the RX's?

well the financial sides been sold but since failed and gone t**s up, hence they are not manufacturing now due to no financial support

not so sure about the rx's, kinda think they will look a bit small

theres a place in ireland advertising the co's so ill get in touch tomorrow and enquire about them there, if they have them ill go and pick them up
