urgent - need help now

hi,

i took the door cards off my polo 6n to lubricate the window motors but now the door pin is jammed and wont lock.

any ideas?

Do you have central locking?

yes, but i removed the central locking pump a while ago......i got fristrated and left it and once i closed the door it worked. now when i have th door open the pin doesnt go down.

i dont mind that!

need a new door pin and thats it now

The pin isnt supposed to go down when the door is open - its a safety mechanism (if its the drivers door)

lol.. it just sounds like you havent put the pin back in properly.. take the door cards off and take the door pin out and then clip it or screw it or whatever you need to do to put it back in and see if that helps.,
