German Style Pressed Plates

Decided that definatly i would get the german pressed plates

Ive seen a few websites that do them.. Was just wondering how high is the risk of getting pulled by the feds..

And is the german style stickers on the front and back plate were legal in the UK, with the Germany "D"

No, the D band is illegal, the whole plate is illegal, it is the wrong spacing, i have them, havent had any problems for a few months, but they are clamping down on them no, same with front tinted windows aswell

The whole thing is illegal, I have pressed german font plates but with no banding or stickers as I thought this would make them more obvious.

I havn't had any trouble yet but I keep my standard plates in the boot just in case.

So do u think if i go for them, it would be safer to have no banding and sticker.. because personally with or with out they look good.

I have checked the dubmeister website and pl8 man. both seem to be OK..
Has any one used them before?

lol x2 and I have surrounds so its a 30s job changing them over

I've got plate surrounds too - got those off plateman and I think my plates are by europl8 but I got them at a show rather than off the net.

I got pulled not long ago and my plates confiscated

Said the Y looked too much like a V, you can get pressed plates in a british font which dont look quite as good, but are still cool!

What about belgian or dutch??

I think Spanish plates are an option, seeing as most Polo's were made in Pamplona, in Spain.

I've never been a fan of German plates, I don't really have a problem with the standard British plates. If I were to get some foreign plates, I would get some of these plates
