312mm brake upgrade

Post by veedub-ally »

Hi guys

Looking for some guidance on upgrading my front brakes to 312mm. I know a few people have done it already. Anything to watch out for? Does anyone have a list of the part numbers required?

Thanks

Cant see why a 312mm conversion from a TT or the like wouldnt be an easy swap. May not even need new callipers, just discs, pads and carriers.

Yes you can use TT brakes or i think s3 brakes. Ill see if i can dig iup the info.

Ok Guy Harding in Oz is the APR distributer. I know he had TT brakes on to start off with and then upgraded to Alcon brakes on page three of the above thread.

I know you have already seen this thread but there is a little info there.

This guy has done the upgrade already.

Thatsa all i can find for now. Im sorry i for all the links but i couldnt be bothered copying all the info into my post.

Personally i havent tracked mine, hopefully 1st week in september, but the only brake upgrade i will be doing is changing the pads to ebc greenstuff and changing the brake fluid. Then if i think it needs more ill put on some dimpled and slotted rotars.
