MY POLO GOT WRITTEN OFF SO I REPLACED IT WITH A CORSA

Post by JoeG07 »

haha only joking. Like i would ever do that! My red polo got written off in a road rage attack :( so thaught id just introduce everyone to the new one! Shes a black 1.6 8 valve. needs quite a bit of work but ive finished collage so have the whole summer to work on her. Think ill do like a mod blog on here lol (if any1 cares) so you can all see my progress. Incase you don't know me i'm Joe, im 18 in about 2 weeks, I like music, people, cars (my car) and food, dislike chavs, people that stick snow ploughs on the front of their cars, arrogant people, people that don't indicate at roundabouts, and the police.

Heres the girl:

lol yeh thats quite a good price dude.

Do me a favour take the air filter off and take some photos and post e up in my 1.6 head thread? Id love you long time. Im planning on swapping the heads but need to check the injection on em as ive never seen a 1.6 polo up close. I know the blocks the same as the golfs but dunno about the throttle body...

Yeah had a pretty good day modding. Got up early, debadged, de bumpered and put back most of the old stuff from my last car in. then spent the rest of the day t cutting it. Now its raining and all my polishing is probably getting undone as we speak. Yeah...the sun strips a bit chavy, but ive found a nicee "vw racing" one Anyway heres a coupla pics of the car after day1:

You know.. its amazing what the price is now for a polo...

the people that told me 'these polo's keep their value' were right idiots...

... .... but it happens to all cars, so its not like we are the unlucky ones.

hey they still retain value better then then likes of a peugeot or ford! Id pay 1200 for a P reg polo, i wouldnt for a P reg fiesta i can tell you that now lol.

Looking quite tidy there dude. Liking the inicators. Need to get some clears on there though and a decent set of alloys. Those 16v0esk things dotn float my boat personally. Saying that, deck it and it might look better!

Got to be coilies next ay surely

hmm raining heavily all day so didn't get much done to the car. Got started on my audio, stuck 10cm speakers where the tweaters go, and sprayed my horn buttons silver. Looks ok.

lol safe, Jarno man yours is looking awesome ive been following yours as well lol. whered u get your leather seats? And how did u polish up your engine cover like that?

Yeah with the horn buttons, I just leavered the buttons off from the top with a flat head screwdriver. it takes quite a bit off force to get them off, but just do ti from the top. I was really paranoid the airbag would blow up in my face lol so i did it from one side, but it was ok. then just sanded them, primered sprayed and laqoured, and popped them back in. Cars at the garage over the weekend geting serviced, new plugs, leads, cam belt change, break pads all the normal stuff that i need to do to get her back into shape. Baught a sub off my mate last nite, so boot build will be coming soon...

Fitted my angel eyes today. needed a little modification to make em fit (as ever!) but they look pretty damn sexual. One thing tho, i wired the rings into the side lights, so they come on with the sides, but when i put my headlights on the rings go out, even tho the headlights stay on :? maybe you guys can shed some light? Also ran a loom through my boot to connect the two rear lights, so i now have fogs and reversing lights on both sides.
