does any one know if it is just ECU difference between the 75bhp and 100bhp models?
and if so can you use vag com to fiddle with it?

completely different engines man. 100bhp uses aluminium crank shafts, whereas the 75 are steel. Also the 100bhp engine has a different gearbox/ecu among other stuff. It would take serious modification to get the 75bhp version to get anywhere near 95 let alone just tune the ecu to have 100

is it not the crank case thats aluminium/steel and the 100bhp has better cams... i cant remember exactly.

there are a lot of differences though, you'd probably be cheaper buying a new engine!
