My new purchase (sport 100 bhp)

Post by smokey666 »

Hi Guys,

Finally got my hands on my new 2003 Polo Sport 100 bhp on friday :) and it was worth the wait, brought it for £5800 with full VW Service history, it has done 53k miles but they were mostly motorway miles and also the full service history put my mind at ease, not sure if i will do anything to it probably put a nice stereo in it and i may think about getting the back windows tinted a little bit which i think would look quite good.

I decided to go for another polo as my first car was a polo (bottom 2 pics) and it was great car which gave me no problems and its 9 years old and the build quality of these cars is great.

If anyone is interested i am selling the other polo, i'll be putting an ad in the selling section asap.

Heres some pics

Hiya looks great. Nice wheels!

What engine has it got?

I hope it is better built than mine as it seems to be falling apart at the moment.

I really like the alloys that are on the car at the moment and i probably wont change them for a while but if i were looking to change them which ones should i look at.

Do you guys have any ideas, i would like it to look really smart.

What size alloys would you go for? 16 or 17"?

The 17" exors are very nice.

Just remember me when/if you come to sell the current ones and I'll throw a nice wad of cash your way!

Hi Gary i'll keep that in mind , probably wont be for a couple of months.

On the Polo 9n Photogallery forum theres some really nice wheels that "vwclub.gr" has put on his polo '06 RS4 Replicas Alloys on 215/40/17 Tyres' if i were to change mine these are the ones i'd go for (they look well smart) Does anyone know where i could get these wheels and how much they'd cost?

Theres usually quite a few on ebay, but watch out though, quite a few places (even off ebay) seem to stock the chinese RS4 ones which are rubbish quality. Make sure its european replicas.

What size are they? cause if there over 17" then im worried it will mess up the ride cause at the moment its perfect.

yeah personally I wouldn't go above 17's. losing any more sidewall would hurt my back!

car's looking very clean.

I think i have found the wheels on this website called Performance Alloys.com, they do them in 16" and 17" the 17" wheels that i would go for are £119 each wheel, I didnt think its a bad price and if i can get good money for my ones then it would be ok.

Just by chance how much would i get for my set of Barcelona Alloys?
