i 'm worried to drive the car incase my steering wheel comes off :shock: everytime i turn the wheel it makes a scrathing noise i've had a gd look around buh i dont seem to see anything that could be making that noise i've left the car on it's own jst too scared to ride it incase anything may happen :( ..does any any have a clue what i can do or what the problem is ??

Does it sound like its grinding against grit/sand

Tis a common problem. Happens to mine every so often and shantybeater had it the other day too. Just spray a wolloping of WD40 around the joint of the steering wheel - if you can, take the surround cover off and give it a good ol' blast - will remove all the grit and it should sound sweet again :D

i had it, then just went again. it just sounds like a bit of dirt.

happened in my old one, just some dirt as the people above have mentioned. blast it with air or just blow into it and adjust the wheel up and down.

yeh i had this, theres two metal discs that rub against each other at the back coz obv u cnt have wires into the steering wheel, and bit of wd40 does the job like they said
