black badging the front...

Worth it?

Im tempted! I know you can get them from VAG parts as someone on here said the other da

Mines reflex silver and im not sure how the black badge would look. I dont fancy doing the rear one. Id rather do the front as it can then be reversed if i sell it. Would that look silly then though?

personally, i am not that keen on the black badge thing, i like the silverness of it looks much better but then thats just my taste.

the black badge does look quite tasty ModifiedMadness but in someways im with PD and think the chrome silver look is better.

bit of a tough one. perhaps I should just try one and see. It does look quite "dub" and old school having the black badge i think and obviously more unique to standard

FYI, you can't get black front badges for the mk5 anymore, they don't make them anymore, I was lucky at Inters on sunday and managed to get hold of a front cover for the badge which I bodged onto the original back. Before that I just had my original silver badge spraypainted black, looked good but was starting to suffer from stone chips.
