my god i think i agree actually i know i agree. IMO That is the most horrifying example of a polo i have ever seen. Looks like an incredibly badly modded pug 206!

I still think the ebay one is worse - theres no hint of vw on the front of it whatsoever - just some bonnet that practically touches the bumper. wtf?!

haha angry midget i love it!

That is terrible, should get together as a forum buy it and un-molester it. Saying that I know it would be a lot of work but it could be changed into something beautiful. Dee-Vub's car is a prefect example of something that started off not looking the greatest ( I dont take this the wrong way) but look at it now and it looks sweeet! :D

well since were now slagging of polos, i might as well add my contestants. my first one........... u dont like lexus lights? u dont like word stickers? u dont like dodgy front bumpers? wat about dodgy seat covers that looks like metal plating is placed on it? well if u hate all these, you'll hate this car..........

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1997-VW-POLO-1-0L ... dZViewItem

i cant find the other but it was on e bay i believe, the car itself i believe wasnt bad but the wheels were a different story........ if u think 17's look bad on a polo can u begin to imagin wat 18's look like? nor could i so i had to look. i even had to read through it about 3 times to check i was reading it correctly........... but yes it had 18 inch alloys on it. i was shocked.

OH.MY.GOD.

That's pretty dodgy indeed. "Lightly Modified", I can't imagine what "Heavily Modified" would look like. AND it has the "carzone" bodykit, the dodgiest of all the kits.

Also, did he get 9 points by speeding in said Polo. As it's a 999cc, you have to give him credit for persistance

HKS and GReddy stickers? JDM y0!

I can't see anyone paying £450 for this POS, not even £45, I would give him half a penny for it and a piece of fluff from my pocket

im sure hed be tempted by your offer but i would beat u and give him 2 whole pennies for it........... then strip it. flog the angel eyes....... if they work........ the 2 alloys? 2 alloys? surely you'd make it all 4 wheels the same...... gives moding a new meaning.......its different alright........

but getting to your point abotu him speeding, i own a 6n2 1 litre and i managed to get it to 100 ONCE befor, that was going down a hill and shouting at it saying "come on come on" not doing that again, felt like the car was gonna fall apart. i have trouble getting to 90 now, not that i ever do.

but back to his polo, if u read it it says good points: front bumper. front bumper? am i missing something? its not only a dodgy bumper to look at, as he says it also needs work......... you tell me something good about that. if it had a bigger engine id be interested in buying it to give it a decent caring home. i think the only thing id keep is the grill and angel eyes......... id be embarrised to be seen with that front bumper on unless i was a chave which i can happily say im not.......

come on guys i reckon that white one with a bit of work could be pretty nice! sort out some proper alloys, tint the windows, burn those seat covers and whack in some black mk5 ones, take off all those STUPID CROOKED vinyl graphics, de-bumper strip it, whack on a 16 valve front bumper and wheyy, neat car.
There is no backbox exhaust on the car as it was damaged.
I'm no mechanic so correct me if im wrong, but surely no backbox is worse than a damaged one?

It's good to see the future potential of the car :D

It would be too much work for me though, I'd rather buy a straight car.

Personally, it's a bit of a lost cause. Not to mention that engine will be ragged to fook.

Maybe, keep the crap stuff, and shoehorn a 1.8t in there. No one will expect it, muhahahaha

Any one else think it looks more like a ford focus from the front than a polo? its also got very similar panels going over the wheels to a focus.
