Stiff Gear Changes.. is it just me?

Are the gearbox's on the gti stiff to get into gears? mine's sloppy in neutral but sometimes a little stiff to get into gear.. are they greased? or have linkages that can be renewed?

you can adjust the gear linkages...may just need that done :)
