17 inch rims

hey,

Does anybody know if 17 inch rims will fit alright on a standard polo with factory springs and if not what adjustments would i have to make,

Yeah, you should have no problems with 17" wheels and std suspension. You will want to put low-profile tyres on your wheels though. You will want 195/40/17 tyres, and the job's a good'un 8)

GD GD actully do u rekon 18's would go on alright

It's been done, I'm sure there's pictures somewhere. I personally wouldn't say they'd be practical though. It really depends on what you want.

nah i reckon they dnt look right my mate upgraded from 15s to 17s on his fiesta and just looks wrong. keep em 15s or maybe 16s

Yeah, I'm being impartial though. I don't think anyone's opinion is really needed in this thread. He didn't ask for anyone's opinion, he just asked whether 17" wheels would fit on a 6N. I just gave him an impartial and objective answer.

youll have to remove the mudflaps to get 17s,,even on std susp,,,plus the front inners will rub a little on full lock.

will need lowering for 17s to not rub, if not they will defo rub, but not on top, but on the sides!
